Katie Stevinson-Nollet, Director
Katie Stevinson-Nollet, a native Californian, is a seasoned dancer and choreographer. After a rewarding career with San Diego's leading modern dance company, Isaacs, McCaleb, and Dancers, and successful reviews as a choreographer, Katie returned to school acquiring an MFA degree in Dance at the University of Michigan. She also holds a BA from San Diego State University and a Certificate from the London Contemporary School of Dance. For the past ten years Katie has presented her work within her own company, Full Force Dance Theatre.

In 97-98 she performed as well as choreographed for Works/Laura Glenn and Dancers. And then went on to perform with the New York based company, the Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company, for two years touring the northeast. Presently Ms. Stevinson-Nollet guest performs with San Diego Dance Theatre, most recently at New York City's Danspace/ St. Marks, San Diego State University, and Casa de Cultura in Tijuana.

Katie's work has been commissioned at the Pensacola Ballet, Mills College, San Diego State University, and presented by Sushi Performance Gallery in San Diego, The Florida Dance Festival, the International Arts Festival in New Haven, Trinity College in Hartford, and the Kaleidoscope Festival in Los Angeles. Her work was also seen in the Inside/Out performances at Jacobs Pillow. Katie has taught in many schools and colleges including the Hartford Ballet School, Dance Space, Center for Creative Youth at Wesleyan, Mills College, the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, the University of Hartford, San Diego State University, California Ballet and Pensacola Ballet. Presently she is a full time BFA faculty member with the University of Hartford/ Hartt School/ School of Dance Connecticut.
