catcher was known as a Cat.
The Ancient Egyptians
routinely used cats to keep mice
and other rodents (mostly rats) away from their grain. Cats
instictively know how to catch mice. Cats are naturally swift and agile
so that it can keep up with a mouse and its tricks. To a mouse a cat is
naturally intimidating.
