Britannica Online - Search the continuously updated Encylopaedia Britannica Online, click to jump to related articles or the carefully selected sites on the web.
 
CARL UnCover - Search the table of contents pages for articles from well over 17,000 journals in all fields. Offers fax delivery of articles (cost varies). Coverage from Fall, 1988. Available to all users.
 
CINAHL - The Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. Indexes English language journals, books, dissertations, standards, research instruments, etc. published since 1982.
 
Dissertation Abstracts - Indexing and abstracting of the complete dissertation collection of University Microfilms International. A web accessed database of 1.5 million entries containing citations from 1861 to the present, including 350-word dissertation abstracts from 1980 forward.
 
EBSCOhost - Access to multiple databases, including Academic Search Elite, CINAHL, ERIC, PsycInfo and Sociological Abstracts. Selected full text available.
Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe - Web accessible subset of the database, providing full text coverage of news, business, political and legal information.

MEDLINE - Comprehensive database of international literature, covering every aspect of medicine and healthcare. Accessible through three services. If one is busy, try another. Available to all users. This site offers information on womens health issues.
