 Ask a LIBRARIAN

  • Are you having trouble using Metcalfe Library's online databases?
  • Can't find the information you need?
  • Not sure which resources to use?
  • Don't know where to start with your research?
  • Overwhelmed by the amount of information you have found?

Ask a LIBRARIAN is an online service that allows registered patrons of the METCALFE LIBRARY to send questions to a librarian at their convenience.

A librarian will generally respond to queries by the next business day. However, more detailed questions may take up to 48-hours to answer.

We will try to answer brief, factual questions and/or direct you to the appropriate resources to answer your question.

In order to better serve you, please provide the librarian with as much information as possible on your question. Remember, the more information you provide the more information the librarian will be able to provide.

For further information, please contact the METCALFE LIBRARY Reference Staff by phone during business hours at (860) 860-8600.
