Call For Papers

The theme for 2003 is diversity which, in proper macro style, is broadly construed to include not only cultural and ethnic diversity, but also the disadvantaged, disenfranchised and disabled. Diversity also includes distinctive consumption patterns emanating from group affiliations or individual values, such as religious strictures or voluntary simplicity.

Manuscripts and special proposals which address the theme from a macromarketing perspective are encouraged. In addition, papers on all macromarketing topics are encouraged; these may include, but are not limited to the following:

Competition and Markets
Globalisation and Transformation
Justice, Equity and Ethics
Environment and Sustainability
Evolution of Marketplace Phenomena
Macromarketing Research Methodology
Macro Consumption and Macro Distribution

In keeping with the theme of diversity, the conference is being held at a Native American venue. The Foxwoods Resort and Casino is an enterprise of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and is located in the scenic southeastern Connecticut woodlands, near the ocean, roughly midway between Hartford, Connecticut and Providence, Rhode Island.

Deadline for submissions is March 3, 2003. Please see the Submission Guidelines web page for details of submission and registration. Please feel free to contact:
