HLM 322, 323 Vocal Literature (when including Italian vocal music) [3,3]
HLM 566, 567 Advanced Music Literature (when including Italian vocal music) [3,3]

Students may petition to include other relevant courses not listed above if they meet the approval of their academic advisor.
Remember that some of these cognate courses have specific prerequisites that must be met before they can be taken. When planning your schedule, be sure that you take these prerequisites as part of your general education requirements or general electives.
