Litchfield County Autism Spectrum Association, Inc. (LACASA) is a non-profit partnership that was established in 2001 by a group of dedicated families and professionals. Its members have a keen interest in ensuring that individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families have local access to quality support and services.

LACASA was founded on the belief that no single person, professional discipline, or agency can meet the multiple and complex needs of individuals with autism or their families. Therefore, its members strive to collaborate with state and local agencies to provide training and support to families and professionals.

LACASA is working with its partners to--

develop parent support networks;
form professional learning communities;
infuse best practices into local programs and services; and
create programs of study that focus on autism in partnership with local colleges and universities.
