Welcome to Jessica's web page!
When
I am not at school in Connecticut, I go back home to my house in New
York. Since I was born, I have always lived in that state, just not in
the same town.I
was born in Queens, New York on October 10, 1991 and attended St.
Gregory's prep school from pre-school to first grade. When I was 3, my
parents gave me
the gift of a new sibling, a little brother Charles. Charles was born
November 13, 1994 and was a great addition to our growing family. As
Charles was learning how to walk and talk, I was learning how to read
and write, and before we both new it, my mom announced that we both had
a new sibling on the way. Either Charlie was getting a play mate or I
was, and as it turned out Charlie lucked out, and baby Patrick was born
on March 27, 1997. It got really hard fitting 5 people in a tiny house
in Queens, so as my mothers sister Nina moved to Long Island for more
space, we joined her. My parents bought a house in Glen Head, New York
where I started second grade at Glenwood Landing Elementary School and
met all new friends. I really loved my new house and the people i met,
especially my neighbor Jessie who was my best friend at school but
unfortunately her parents decided to send her to private school. We had
so much in common we both went horse back riding, had October
birthdays, oldest in the family and loved to have fun. After she went
to that school we still stayed close because we lived next door to each
other but when i reached the end of fourth grade, my parents wanted a
bigger house and more property for my brothers and I to run around on.
My mom found this great house in the next town over but luckily I
didn't have to change schools. That August in 2001, we moved to Old
Brookville where I started fifth grade. The elementary school for Old
Brookville was Glen Head elementary, but being that it was my last year
in elementary school, my principal was very kind and let me finish up
at Glenwood Landing. My mom had to drive me everyday to Glenwood with
Charlie who was starting the first grade. It was awesome not having to
run to the bus stop in the morning because my mom drove us for that
year until i reached middle school. I went to North Shore middle school
where all the kids from Sea Cliff , Glenwood Landing and Glen Head
attended. I met so many new people that I never got the chance to meet
at Glenwood Landing because you only know the people you attend school
with, but in middle school we were all combined into one grade and
through classes, we all met new cool people who we would be spending
the next 7 years with. In middle school everyone is at an awkward age
and kids were changing mentally and physically. I had many groups of
friends and a lot of drama that went with it. When you are at the ages
of 12,13 and 14 you don't really know much about life and the real
world so fighting about stupid issues was very common. As i left North
Shore Middle School in June of 2005, i walked across the street that
September to the high school with a clean slate and no drama policy.
Many of the friends i was close to in middle school disappeared and
spread there wings to new people and new things. Some of those old
friends joined the school play, helped put the yearbook together,
played soccer or just did there own thing. Some of the girls i went to
elementary school with and never played with when we were younger
became by best friends senior year. Those four years of high school
brought me laughs, heartbreaks, success, failure, enbaressing moments
and change. Those people who i dated, had class with, talked to for 5
minutes and became best friends with all changed me as a person and
made me who i am today. So now you know where i come from and what i am
all about, so enjoy my webpage!
