Over 5,000 Hawk computers have been purchased and installed
on campus. The current
Windows
desktop model is the
Dell
Optiplex 790.
You can
order from two different size PCs to suit your needs.
The Mini-Tower and the Small Form Factor. Our current
Laptop configurations are a choice of two Lenovo
ThinkPads; the L420 & T420.

review this website before ordering a PC as our prices,
models and options change from time to time.
To
purchase a HawkPC,
IDT
(Inter-Departmental Transfer)
the full purchase amount to ITS using account
3240-62960 Comp Srvc Repair.
Send the original
IDT (Do
Not Fax or email) listing
items you wish to purchase to
ITS
in CC125.
Do not send IDT to Accounting.
You must have funds in your account prior to ordering a
Hawk PC or the IDT will be returned.

to include the description or specifications of the PC
in the IDT. Just indicate what PC you would like.

include the University of Hartford Hazardous Material Disposal Fee

If you are disposing of your
old computer, please
complete the
Computer Disposal Form and ITS will
remove the hard drive and
dispose of the old computer
free of charge. Click

dispose of Copy Machines,
Typewriters, Fax Machines
and larger printers.
Please contact Facilities to
have these items disposed
of.
