How do I
calculate my GPA?

Unlike your University of Hartford GPA, your GPA in your major includes
any courses from the list above that you have taken elsewhere. Begin
my listing all the courses and grades on a piece of paper. Then convert
each grade into a number, using the table below:

A 4.0

A- 3.67

B+ 3.33

B 3.0

B- 2.67

C+ 2.33

C 2.0

C- 1.67

D+ 1.33

D 1.0

Now multiply each of those numbers
by the number of credits for the course. In most cases that will be
3.

Now divide the total of points by
the total number of credits.

Here’s
an example:

EDF 120 B 3.0 9.0

EDH 120 A- 3.67 11.01

EDG 331 B+ 3.33 9.99

EDG 332 A 4.0 12.0

EDG 333 B- 2.67 8.01

Total 50.01

50.01 divided by 15 credits equals
3.33
