Hawks Finish 14th in First Spring Tournament

CITRUS SPRINGS, FL (March 22) – The University of Hartford women’s golf team finished 14th in the field of 17 at the Lady Herd/El Diablo Intercollegiate on Tuesday at the El Diablo Golf and Country Club.

Coastal Carolina University won the event with a combined team score of 908 for the three-round tournament, besting host school Marshall by 38 strokes. The Hawks shot 1,010 as a team.

Freshmen Adrianna DiLonardo and Juliana Carrillo led the Hawks for the tournament. DiLonardo tied for 28th overall and shot round of 79-83-80 to finish at 242. Carrillo carded the lowest round of any Hartford golfer (75) and finished 45th overall at 245. Juniors Jo-Anna Krupa and Kerry Hassell each shot 267 to tie for 83rd overall while freshman Jennifer Guido rounded out the group finishing tied for 93rd at 280.

Hartford will next compete at the Hofstra Invitational on April 4-5.
