Parking Permit
Information
Last Updated September 1, 2009
The Department of Public Safety has
launched a new, online system
that will allow members of the University community to order parking
permits –
and to review, pay, and appeal tickets – through the online Self-Service Center.
As
of 9/1/2009, this online system does NOT work for members of the
Emeriti Association.
Here's how to get a parking permit for
Academic Year 2010 (Sept. 2009 - August 2010):
Method 1 - Do it yourself by going to Public Safety, on campus
- Stop at the Public Safety Office during normal business
hours, and bring your car
registration document and U of H ID card.
- Be prepared to provide your "Banner ID number" (this
should be on your U of H ID card), phone number, and vehicle
information (Make, Model, Year, Color, License Plate Number &
State).
- They will issue you a parking tag (to hang on your
car's inside mirror) at no charge.
Method
2 - Do it at the Emeriti Association Meeting on October 1, 2009
- Come to the Emeriti Association fall meeting on October
1. A representative from the Public Safety Office will be there to
enter your information into their system. Bring your car
registration document and U of H ID card.
- Be prepared to give that person your "Banner ID number"
(this should be on your U of H ID card), phone number, and vehicle
information (Make, Model, Year, Color, License
Plate Number & State).
- You will be given a parking tag (to hang on your car's
inside mirror) at no charge.
