Upcoming Emeriti Association Meetings

Spring 2009 Meeting - Will be Thursday, May 21, with lunch in the 1877 Club. The pre-lunch activity is tentatively a tour of the Handel Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Albany Avenue.

Tentative Schedule for May 21, 2009 Meeting:

Tour of PAC on Albany Ave. at 10:30 a.m.

Libations at 11:20 a.m., 1877 Club

Business Meeting at 11:50 a.m., 1877 Club

Lunch at 12:10 p.m., 1877 Club.

Fall 2008 Meeting - Was October 2, in the 1877 Club. An exciting presentation was made by EA member Virginia Hale on the life of Beatrice Fox Auerbach, based on the biography she wrote on this extraordinary woman whose generosity made her name ubiquitous on the University campus.

Executive Committee - will meet the second Thursday of each month, except December & January.  

2009 meetings are at 1:00 p.m. on 2/12, 3/12, 4/9, 5/14  and 6/11.

All Exec. Comm. meetings are in the Woods Family Center, Mortensen Library.  Lunch at 11:30 a.m. (optional), 1877 Club.
