Welcome!

Welcome to my website. My name is Eric Goldberg and I am a freshman at the University of Hartford. My intended major is business, but I am unsure of which aspect I want to pursue. I am also minoring in communications. I am looking forward to being successful and I will continue to work hard until I achieve all my goals.

The Barney School of Business

I am currently enrolled in the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford which was recently named outstanding by the Princeton Review for being one of the top business schools in the country. The AACSB, the highest standard of ranking institutions, ranks the Barney School of Business in the top  10% of business schools in the world. Interestingly enough, the Barney School of Business is one of the seven colleges at theUniversity of Hartford that offers seven undergraduate degree programs in business and three graduate. Though the University of Hartford orginally became a  university in 1877, it was not offically chartered until 1957.  Currently the Barney School of Business has thirty-seven faculty staff members, and each one of their missions is to see their students succeed  at this university and further on in their career in business.  I am extremely pleased and lucky to be apart of the Barney School of Business, and am striving hard to be successful.

CS110

Computer Science 110 is a course offered by the University of Hartford in the College of Arts and Sciences. It is the "Introduction to Computers".  In this class students will learn how everything from what parts a computer is composed of to making a presentation using and knowing all forms of Microsoft Office software. In this course, there is really no specialization on specifics, it is to generally teach you everything basic you need to learn about using a computer to help you in the business world etc. During this course I have learned a great deal about the computer and aspects of Microsoft Office that I did not know prior to taking the course. CS110, or Introduction to Computers", is an excellent stepping stone course for any student interested in a major or career involving computer application.

I chose this clip because Dane Cook is my favorite comedian, and this clip portrays not only his verbal ability to entertain a crowd, but his physical ability as well. His energy on stage and his choice of topics make him a great comedian and a personal favorite. This clip about being thirsty is hilarious.
