About Me

I have been a licensed and registered radiologic technologist since 1990. I achieved my advanced credential in computed tomography (CT) in 1996, the first year it was offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). My primary clinical background is in CT, but I have also worked extensively in general radiography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), picture archival and communications system (PACS) administration, and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA). During the last two decades I've had the opportunity to practice radiography across three states, and in positions ranging from staff technologist to department administrator.

Previous experience in medical imaging education includes a six-year tenure as the assistant director and clinical coordinator of the baccalaureate-degree program in Radiography at the C.W.Post Campus of Long Island University. I have also lectured nationally on the physics and clinical applications of CT imaging for the MTMI corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I live in Simsbury, CT with my wife of 14 years and our two children, ages 6 & 8. When not teaching, reading, or writing, I enjoy spending time with my family and other activities including running, cycling, and cooking.
