The following grade scale represents the standards maintained in this course.

"A" – Exceptionally well-prepared and executed completion of assigned work indicating effort, individualized style, and impact which may be expected of an outstanding contribution.

"B" – Original, well-prepared, and unusually talented completion of the assigned work indicating an artful application of course materials and individual imagination that is distinctly superior to "C" effort.

"C" – Satisfactory completion of assigned work at a level of effort and competency normally expected of the majority of students (i. e. , basic preparation, correct procedure, and disciplined effort. ).

"D" – Unsatisfactory completion of assigned work indicating technical irregularity, misconceived objectives/methods, and undisciplined effort.

"F" – Failure to complete assigned work during the scheduled time.
