The Future of Educational Bloggging
Before long, all students will have blogs. Many students have accounts on MySpace and Facebook; They create and upload videos to YouTube; They take photos and upload them to Flickr.
Can teachers leverage all these new technologies for teaching and learning? The interesting issue is that all of these web-based technologies can generate web feeds (e.g. RSS and Atom). What students create can be accessed via a pure content feed.
My big question is will teachers of the future be content aggregators?
Just like using email for communication, will teachers be using a web feed reader like "Google Reader" to aggregate student content from diverse sources? Will the web be a giant portfolio for student work?
