Professor Vigeant Receives Highly Competitive NSF CAREER Award
Dr. Michelle Vigeant, of our UHartford Acoustics Program, has been awarded a highly competitive Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) grant from the National Science Foundation. The grant will also provide research opportunities for our undergraduate students over the next five years. We are very proud of her accomplishment! Read more here.
B.S.E. Acoustical Engineering Program attains ABET Accreditation
Our B.S.E. Acoustical Engineering and Music degree program has received full ABET accreditation to 2016. This is a new accreditation, which joins our re-accredited B.S.M.E. with Acoustics Concentration program. We are excited to have both Acoustic programs attain this national certification. ABET accreditation is the established benchmark for undergraduate engineering programs in the United States.
