Faculty Posters

A poster presentation on work in progress provides an opportunity to receive feedback on the project. A poster on finished work offers a chance for more extensive discussion than a paper presentation affords. We invite both types of posters, which may be on any of the kinds of topics that are also appropriate for a paper, such as:

  • innovative curriculum design in two- and four-year college programs
  • K-12 computing curricula
  • classroom experiences or teaching techniques
  • novel laboratory material
  • ways of recruiting and retaining students, both traditional and non-traditional
  • results of computing education research
Posters on other research topics that are not yet ready for a research-conference presentation are also appropriate. Abstracts of accepted posters will be published in the Journal of Computing Sciences in Colleges, which is included in the ACM Digital Library.

Faculty Poster Abstract Submission Deadline: January 12, 2010
