Congratulations on having your paper/proposal accepted for presentation at CCSCNE 2010.

1. Web-Based Paper Submission:

Submit each of the following items using the CCSCNE Final Copy Submission Page so as to reach the CCSCNE Editor by January 29, 2010

  1. Your paper/proposal as one formatted file, which includes any embedded figures. 

    Please follow the instructions in:

  • General Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation 
  • Manuscript Formatting
  • For questions with formatting instructions, please email: John Meinke at meinkej@faculty.ed.umuc.edu

    Word or WordPerfect are accepted. Note that TeX and LaTeX are not accepted.

    Name your file with the first 5 characters of your last name, plus the file extension. >E.g., johns.doc, smith.wpd

  • For each figure in the paper/proposal, include a separate file containing the original figure. The figures may be in any popular format (such as TIFF, BMP, PIC, GIF).

    If you don't include a file for each figure, the figure may not appear in the proceedings!

    Name your files as fig1.pic, fig2.bmp, fig3.gif etc.

  • A PDF form of your paper/proposal. If this is not possible then submit a plain ASCII text form of your paper/proposal (minus any figures, of course). This file will be used to re-create your paper/proposal if the above files cannot be used.

    Name your file with the first 5 characters of your last name, plus the pdf extension. E.g., johns.pdf, smith.pdf.


2. Copyright Form:

A hard copy of the copyright form, duly signed and dated, must be mailed to the CCSCNE Editor and received by January 29, 2010. All the co-authors of a paper/proposal must sign and return the copyright form. However, all the signatures need notappear on the same form.

Papers/Proposals will not be included in the proceedings until copyright form(s) signed by all the authors are received.

3. Registration:

The following items must be mailed to the CCSCNE Conference Co-chair and received by January 29, 2010.

  1. Registration: A completely filled out registration form
  2. Registration Fee: In order to maintain minimal registration fees for the conference, there are no complimentary registrations for speakers, moderators, panelists or members of the Steering Committee. It is therefore essential that speakers', moderators', and panelists' registrations be received prior to assembly of the Proceedings, which will be available at the conference.

In addition, please note that:

  • Papers: At least one author of the paper must register when submitting the camera-ready copy.
  • Panels/Tutorials: All the presenters must register when submitting the camera-ready copy.
  • Demos: At least one author of the paper must register when submitting the camera-ready copy.
  • Faculty Posters: At least one author of the poster must register by January 29, 2010.
  • Student Posters: Student registration fee is a fraction of the general registration fee.

Papers/Abstracts will not be included in the proceedings until registration fee is received.

Audio-Visual Requirements:

Each conference room will be equipped with:

  • an internet-capable computer
  • a connection for projecting from the computer and a laptop
  • wireless internet

For additional AV facilities, please contact the Local Arrangements Chair at local@ccscne.org by February 26, 2010. There are no guarantees but we will try our best to accommodate all reasonable requests.
