1. List the vocabulary words (in English) that you don't understand.  Look up their definitions in the dictionary and write them down.  If you don't find definitions, note that.  Provide a minimum of five words.

2.  These writings are generally about the translation of psychic automatism to visual art forms.  Make a list of the different techniques invented by visual artists to accomplish this and of the artists who used each technique.

3.  Which of these techniques seems to have best accomplished Surrealist goals?  Discuss the technique in terms of what your authors have to say about it and in terms of how you see it working in a work of art in one of your texts (tell me what the work is, which text it is in, and what page it is on).
