Karen Lucas Breda is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the University of Hartford, CT, USA. She also serves as the director of Project Horizon, a community outreach initiative of the University of Hartford focusing on health, social and cultural advocacy. Dr. Breda has a doctorate in anthropology from the University of Connecticut , in Storrs , Connecticut and baccalaureate and master's degrees in nursing from Boston University in Boston , Massachusetts . Her research interests include: She teaches courses on theory and research methods, complementary healing modalities, and health and social issues relevant to professional nurses. |
