The Role of a Quartermaster is to
procure, inventory and issue all necessary equipment to the force under his
control.
Almost all the Military Branches
in almost all the Governments of the world has a Quartermaster branch.
Some are fighting units as well
as administrative units, and here at the University of Hartford I try to get
out into the field as much as possible.
If the Department of Public
Safety needs Pens to Police Cruisers, tissue to tanks of Oxygen I'm the guy
who gets it.
Unlike my fellow Quartermaster
"Q" at Britain's MI6's Q- Branch, ( from the world of James Bond - 007) - we
here at the University are lacking all the really cool toys "Q" issues to
all double 0 operatives in the field such as poison pens, sonic glass
shattering wristwatches and invisible BMW's. But still I enjoy my job.
