-Air conditioning and heating account for almost half of electricity use in the average American home.
-Climate change is linked to stronger hurricanes, more droughts, and dangerous weather conditions for humans.
-The inevitable rise of sea levels could put all of manhattan under water, as well as other below sea level locations.
