Office Hours Are 8:30am thru 4:30pm Monday thru Friday

System availablity:

System is available 24 hours a day, with the following exceptions:

Downtime: 1:00a.m - 2:00a.m for Production backup of system

System Maintenance: User community notified in advance.

If time is unacceptable, contact Production Control at ext. 4113 or ext. 4748

Clarification of Daily, Weekend and Off-Shift coverage and who to contact when problems occur.

Weekday Coverage:

1st Shift hours 8:30 - 16:30

3rd Shift hours 21:00 - 5:00

Off-Shifts coverage:

Off shift hours 16:30 - 21:00 no personnel on site

Production Control/Scheduling department responsibilitites include:

Coordinate and schedule the daily batch workload for computer

Processing(e.g.,Accounts Receivable/Payable, Payroll, Student Records etc.

Problem solving

Ensure successful completion of all jobs.

Ensure that all reports produced are correct and are distributed to the appropriate departments.

Production batch job scheduling

Reset Production Banner passwords

Operation's Department responsibilities include:

System monitoring

System problem resolution and reporting

Centralized printing

Operation daily reports

Records and enters tapes into Nttapesys software

Manages the off-site and on-Site Tape Cartridge Library

Faculty Evaluations and Student Test Score Current applications processed on the scanner are Faculty Evaluations and Student Exams

An NCS (National Computer System) OPSCAN5 SCANNER

Is capable of printing alpha/numeric data on all forms, as demonstrated on the student exam sheets which have the score on them;

The Test Score Scanner form number is _16504_

Scanner reads number two(2) pencil - only
