The Center Square- Krakow, Poland


"Why Poland?", you may ask. It's funny, sometimes, how life turns out. Growing up, I didn't want to have anything to do with my "roots" (Poland & Slovakia). Who would have thought that I would end up spending much time there and considering it my second home? But Poland can do that to you. Formerly an Eastern Block Communist country, it was poor, oppressed and rather grey-looking. But things are different now, and the West has made it's mark in the "new" Poland. However, it all started for me in 1988 when I became part of a team of American students that went on a trip to teach English and share our faith in God with young people in Poland. It took the form of summer English language camps arranged by.....
I fell in love with Poland and it's people and that's what this page is dedicated to. Below, are some pics of Poland and the young people who have become a major part of my life. Some of the best and craziest times of my life have been in this country doing these Christian English camps and other activities associated with International Messengers.
