| My Name is Alayna Allard. I am in the University of Hartford Class of 2010, but I will be leaving early to do my senior year at the New England College of Optometry in Boston!!! My Dream School! I did the 3+4 accelerated program in ENHP Health Sciences: Optometry. I will definitely be back for graduation with me 2010 favorites! I have Fabi, Kaylan, Nicole, Stephanie, Brisa, Brittney, Jessica, AlexF, AlexH, and Suzie to thank for my great experience here at UHa! They made my three years at Hartford the best it could be and I will miss them very much! I am looking forward to moving to Boston to be with my other friends who go to schools there, my cousins, and my boyfriend who goes to BU dental and is a Uha alum (07). In ten years I see myself as an optometrist specializing in geriatrics, and working at a veterans hospital or other health care facility and going on site to nursing homes etc., and bringing health care to those who may otherwise not have it available to them. I also have a great roommate in Boston, Shannon, another NECO 2013. I will miss UHa, but I am ready for the next step! See you all again in May 2010! |
